Tony Ferguson has been pressured to withdraw from his light-weight title battle with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 223 on Saturday after damaging his knee ligaments in a freak incident.

The American has now seen a conflict with the Russian scheduled and cancelled on 4 separate events, with the latter set to battle Max Holloway to turn into the undisputed light-weight champion as an alternative.
